Interactive map of the three Black-capped Petrels tracked by satellite from April to November of 2014.

Here you can see a map of locations of the 3 satellite-tagged birds. At the top of the map you will see a small calendar. You can select a date to see specific locations on that day.

The satellite tags being used are small solar-powered tags weighing 9 grams. They turn on for approximately 8 hours per day then turn off and recharge for approximately 24 hours.
